What is thread Lift and the benefits

As we age, many of us are afflicted with droopy eyes and eye bags. A common misconception is that these problems can be solved by applying facial cream or wearing a face mask.

Droopy eyes and eye bags, however, result from a wide variety of factors. Lifestyle choices and genetic makeup are possible influences. These phenomena could also be side effects of medication and non-cosmetic surgery.

Though many surgical options are available to remove eye bags or to treat drooping eyelids, these are often not suitable for patients due to their medical histories. The high cost of surgery also makes it less appealing to patients who only seek a minor improvement in their facial features.

Non-surgical options include dermal fillers and Botox. Dermal fillers involve the injection of soft tissue filler or hyalonic acid to artificially fill out the depressions under the eyes and wrinkles around the eyes, giving a smoother appearance. Botox is typically injected around the forehead, stopping the muscle movement that causes the wrinkles and crow’s feet around the eyes. A drawback common to both of these treatments is that they are temporary, and require the patient to have a new injection at intervals of six months to a year.

In contrast, eye threadlift involves the insertion of specialised surgical threads into the skin near the eyebrows or under the eyes in order to lift the sagging skin, giving a smoother, firmer look and reducing the wrinkles around the eyes.
