The Nose thread lift is a non-surgical alternative suitable for people who want an aesthetically more pleasing nose but not want to undergo the risks of surgical rhinoplasty.

The threads used are made of polydioxanone (PDO) which are safe and completely absorbable. They are inserted along the nose bridge as well as nose column. This brings about mechanical heightening of the nose bridge and nose tip. As the threads dissolve over time, collagen is stimulated and laid down. The skin over the nose is tightened and the nose is more defined.

The face is cleansed. Local anaesthesia is injected along the bridge and column of the nose. A needle is used to make a nick over the tip of the nose. The threads are carefully inserted along the bridge and column of the nose. The procedure is largely comfortable with minimal pain due to the anesthesia provided.

Treatment time is typically less than 45 minutes.

Downtime is expected:

Redness and swelling
Pain and soreness (up to a week)

There is an immediate improvement in the shapeliness of the nose: the nasal ridge and tip are elevated, and the base of the nose is reduced. As the threads dissolve over time, collagen is stimulated and laid down. The skin over the nose is tightened and the nose is more defined.

Individual results may vary.

For best outcomes, the treatment may be repeated annually.

The Nose thread lift is often complemented by fillers to achieve greater projection and definition of the nose.
