Our medical facials are specially tailored and customized so as to tackle specific acne concerns of different individuals.

At each session, it comprises a laser treatment and two of the following treatments which are carefully selected by our doctors and therapists so as to specifically address your acne problem:

Extraction and Light therapy
Intense Pulse Light

Facials and peels provide a gentle yet deep cleansing action that purifies and clear up congested pores.

The Q-switched Nd:YAG laser delivers 1064nm wavelength of light that penetrates deep into the skin. This treats acne by destroying Propionibacterium acnes bacteria residing in the sebaceous glands. It also brings about shrinkage of the sebaceous glands, thus reducing their activities.

Blue light treats acne by targeting P. acnes bacteria as well as regulating the activity of oil glands. Red light is able to relieve and improve the redness that surrounds a pimple by speeding up repair mechanisms.

Iontophoresis is a treatment that employs a gentle current to improve absorption of vitamins/medication that we select to address different acne concerns.

The face is cleansed. Treatment is painless and comfortable as the doctor runs passes over the treatment area. The laser feels as if a rubber band is lightly snapping on the skin.

Treatment time is typically around 90 minutes.

Mild swelling and redness can be expected right after extraction.

You can expect clarity of skin in 4-6 sessions, with reduced acne production. There is also improvement in the post-acne spots and redness, resulting in a brighter and cleaner complexion. Pore refinement is achieved over time.

Individual results may vary.

For best outcomes, treatments are repeated monthly.

Medical facials are popularly coupled with the ‘Acne Red Mark laser’ to effect synergistic acne control as well as brightening of the complexion.
