Moles, skin tags, milia and warts are growths on the skin that are mostly harmless, but they may appear unpleasant. These are easily and effectively tackled with the use of laser

The laser beam when used on moles, skin tags and warts, delivers a precise and focused energy to carefully burn away the unwanted aberrant tissues while minimizing damage to the surrounding normal and healthy skin. On the other hand, the laser beam is used to gently gain access into a milia, thus allowing extraction at ease.

The treatment area is cleansed. Numbing cream is applied. The doctor then carefully applies the laser over the desired area. Treatment is painless and comfortable.

Treatment time is typically less than 15 minutes, depending on the number of lesions treated.

If the treatment occurs over the face, scabs may be expected and these are allowed to fall off naturally. Post-treatment care is advised. Otherwise, downtime is minimal.

Excellent response to a one-time laser treatment is common for most. Occasionally, there may be a role for a repeat treatment for moles and warts as their recurrence is a common occurrence.

Do always have an open and honest discussion with your doctor to find out more (details such as expectations, downtime and potential complications, etc) so as to better plan your treatment
